Some attempts to photograph badgers
These badgers live not at all far from the edge of Sheffield. Photographing them is tricky, largely because aiming a camera is pretty much guesswork in the middle of the night; even if your eyes are adjusted well enough to see, the viewfinder of the average camera is dark! And of course, you have to be very quiet and still...
Two that didn't quite make it into the frame...
and one that made it in very nicely.
The one which came to say hello.
Look into my eyes...
And finally, the blazing headlights. (You might be worrying that flash photography is unduly alarming or hamful for the badgers. In fact, they rarely seemed to notice it, or if anything came to have a a closer look. Their eyes are not at all sensitive.)
